If you love comic books and you are here in Nairobi, Kenya, rejoice!  Here’s your chance to dive in and take part in something that has been a global tradition for quite a while.  So what exactly is ‘Free Comic Book Day‘?

Description

Free Comic Book Day, taking place on the first Saturday of May, is an annual promotional effort by the North American comic book industry to help bring new readers into independent comic book stores. Free Comic Book Day started in 2002 and is coordinated by the industry’s single large distributor, Diamond Comic Distributors.

Due to timing on delivery of the goods, Kenya will be celebrating its FCBD the first Saturday of September, annually.  From Diamond Comic Distributors through Between the Lines Bookshop to you!

What do you Get?

While stocks last, specially printed and labelled issues for this year’s FCBD will be up for grabs.  Most of the issues are very new and recent/current.  Specifically at Between the Lines store, Village Market, other non-FCBD comic books, graphic novels and geek items in store will be on sale at a discounted price.
