Our theme “Isekai”

“Isekai” is an anime genre that involves characters in the normal world being transported into another world. That underlines our mission with this year’s edition of Otamatsuri; to be an escape into the world of anime.

“Escape” by Ennaira

Ennaira wrote the lyrics and gave her wonderful voice to the song that embodies our theme of escape. Despite what’s happening in the world, this is one of the things we just had to release.

Together with Ennaira, Anime Cafe Kenya and The Tsunami Studio, we are proud to present to you our first ever theme song, “Escape”.

About Ennaira

Ennaira is an Afro-fusion artist born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. Her music plays around with the notion of love and finding one’s self.

Her stories are inspired by her journey through the occurrences, events and people, as well as the emotional factors that affect her life and the world around her. By fusing her warm, bright vocals with the sounds of her ukulele, Bagira, she serenades her way into hearts with her interesting melodies.

She performs with Bohemia, a band she is well acquainted with as well and is an enigmatic character, dabbling in other creative areas such as photography, fashion and Cosplay, which she incorporates in her performances and music.
