—Breaking Bad season 5 will air 2012-2013 …

The 5th and final season of ‘Breaking Bad’ will run up to 16 episodes and will be broken into TWO parts, hmmm…

The star of the show, Bryan Cranston, had this to say regarding the upcoming season:

We’re splitting it. We’re going to shoot the first eight, then take a four-month production break, then the rest will air next year…. We pick up right where we left off,’’ Cranston goes on to add “We’re cleaning up the pieces from last season’s huge ordeal where Gus Fring was forced to meet his maker. It’s not as easy as Walter thought. And as we’ve discovered over the years, you don’t really know who Walter White is. I’m still discovering who he is and I’m trying to allow myself to be open to him going darker and darker. There’s physical danger to himself and his family, plus there’s the emotional danger due to his anger and hubris. It’s about the evil that men do and where that takes him.

If information stands true, July will see the last season of ‘Breaking Bad’ premiere.  Info courtesy of

—‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Catwoman pic …

Well, the other major super-hero flick of the year, and also highly anticipated (since attention seems to naturally be on the forerunner of the season, The Avengers) is the 3rd and final installment to Director Christopher Nolan’s take on Batman.  So far, we’ve seen promo image and footage of the main big guns; Bane and Batman, but very very little and very brief images of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle / Catwoman.  But, here, finally with us is a promo image of the said.  Nice huh 😉

—Game of Thrones season 3, 4 etc

Peeps! If you’re not in love with ‘Game of Thrones’ yet, i don’t know what to say… 🙁

To all you lovers, rejoice, season 2 may have just kicked off, but here’s info on season 3, 4, 5, and beyond.  Hopefully season 20 hehehe

Here’s what executive producer D. B. Weiss had to say about the seasons:

— Well… “A Storm of Swords” is too long to fit in a single season. And as readers know, “A Feast for Crows” and “A Dance with Dragons” takes place during roughly the same time frame, so we’ll have to fold those together. The plan, if we’re lucky enough to be given the opportunity to see it through, is to use as many seasons as we need to tell the story as a whole, to do justice to George’s entire opus…. We’re not looking at our series as a book-by-book adaptation so much as an adaptation of George’s entire saga. In other words, in our minds season two is not “A Clash of Kings.” It is the second season of our adaptation of “A Song of Ice and Fire.” —

Yes, May 4th 2012, marks the BIG DAY in movie/comic-book history.  Iconic comic characters and big screen superheroes with their respective stories, will come together to save the world from a threat no single hero can face alone AND also deliver some awesome cinematic eye-candy and an experience that hopefully will be unforgettable… for all the RIGHT reasons 😉

Keeping up with the marketing pace of ‘The Avengers’, here are some more set pics…
