HUMAN | New J.J. Abrams Series Starring Karl Urban

When you think of well known TV series from Felicity, Alias, Lost,Β  to Undercovers, Fringe, Person of Interest, Revolution, and the discontinued Alcatraz, one name comes to mind (no not mine πŸ˜‰ ), rather J.J. Abrams’ whose creative and production touch gave them their reputation.

Now that we have that ‘glory roster’ out of the way, J.J. Abrams, apart from working on the Star Wars VII (2015) film, is working on a new sci-fi TV series starring one of his leads from Star Trek and Star Trek: Into Darkness; Karl Urban

The show will be called Human, and here is it’s general synopsis for the moment:

β€œan action-packed buddy-cop show set in the near future, when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved humanlike androids.”

According to FollowingtheNerd, Karl Urban will play the lead as an officer named John Kennex… “a respected police officer who has shut down emotionally after a tragic mission that claimed the lives of nine of his fellow elite officers and left him critically injured.”Β  Michael Ealy (Common Law) will be playing Urban’s android partner, simply named Dorian.

To make this piece of news even more fantastic, the script for the show is being penned by one of Fringe’s scribes.
