#The Dark Knight Rises

Here’s the 9th and latest TV Spot for the upcoming mammoth of an ending(?)  This latest spot has no dialogue, just pure action and incredible scenes which even thought they’re just a few seconds long, deliver.  If you watch carefully (or maybe it’s just me) the scenes with Batman/Bruce Wayne show him with more ‘victory’ in his posture and such, especially in the opening when he’s going for his Bat Suit… and except when him and Bane are slugging it out.

For you fans of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight soundtracks done by none other than Hans Zimmer, i highly recommend you to sample 30 seconds of each track composed by Hans for The Dark Knight Rises.  It is his last score in the Batman series so, chances are he’s bringing his best to the table (spin-table perhaps? ok, bad joke 😉 )

#Image Round-Up

For all you fans of glossy movie posters…

Synopsis: Mike (Tatum) is an entrepreneur. A man of many talents and loads of charm, he spends his days pursuing the American Dream from as many angles as he can handle: from roofing houses and detailing cars to designing furniture from his Tampa beach condo.  But at night… he’s just magic.  The hot headliner in an all-male revue, Magic Mike has been rocking the stage at Club Xquisite for years with his original style and over-the-top dance moves. The more the ladies love him, the more they spend, and the happier that makes club owner Dallas (McConaughey).  Seeing potential in a guy he calls the Kid (Pettyfer), Mike takes the 19-year-old under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of dancing, partying, picking up women and making easy money. It’s not long before the club’s newest act has fans of his own, as the summer opens up to a world of fun, friendship and good times.  Meanwhile, Mike meets the Kid’s captivating sister, Brooke (Horn). She’s definitely someone he’d like to know a lot better, and it looks like he has a chance…until his lifestyle gets in the way. Directed by Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh (“Traffic”) and written by Reid Carolin, “Magic Mike” is produced by Nick Wechsler, Gregory Jacobs, Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin. The creative filmmaking team includes production designer Howard Cummings, costume designer Christopher Peterson, music supervisor Frankie Pine and choreographer Alison Faulk.

Synopsis: Three-time Oscar-winning filmmaker Oliver Stone returns to the screen with the ferocious thriller Savages, featuring the all-star ensemble cast of Taylor Kitsch, Blake Lively, Aaron Johnson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Benicio Del Toro, Salma Hayek, Emile Hirsch and Demian Bichir.  The film is based on Don Winslow’s best-selling crime novel that was named one of The New York Times’ Top 10 Books of 2010. Laguna Beach entrepreneurs Ben (Johnson), a peaceful and charitable Buddhist, and his closest friend Chon (Kitsch), a former Navy SEAL and ex-mercenary, run a lucrative, homegrown industry—raising some of the best marijuana ever developed.  They also share a one-of-a-kind love with the extraordinary beauty Ophelia (Lively).  Life is idyllic in their Southern California town…until the Mexican Baja Cartel decides to move in and demands that the trio partners with them. When the merciless head of the BC, Elena (Hayek), and her brutal enforcer, Lado (Del Toro), underestimate the unbreakable bond among these three friends, Ben and Chon—with the reluctant, slippery assistance of a dirty DEA agent (Travolta)—wage a seemingly unwinnable war against the cartel.  And so begins a series of increasingly vicious ploys and maneuvers in a high stakes, savage battle of wills.

Synopsis: Two mothers from different backgrounds–a postal worker and a reporter–join forces to take on a failing public school system and institute a charter school for children in the neighborhood, including their own.
