The Dark Knight Rises: Bane’s Early Look and Rejected Posters [UPDATED]
According to the world-wide portal of information i.e. the internet, The Dark Knight Rises after a successful run in Big Screen is set to hit DVDs and Blu-ray come December 4th. Ofcourse, DVD releases for such mammoth hits are always packaged with exclusive extra goodies that won’t be found anywhere else just so to make the packaging more appealing…
For some movies, it’s a waste and too much of an obvious cash-milking effort. Other films are worth it, case in point The Dark Knight Rises. Some of the goodies in TDKR‘s DVD release include early conceptual art…
Below are images of concept art of Tom Hardy’s Bane and what he may have looked like. These images seem to more closely resemble the comic book look of the character. Of course, not everything that looks good in comics translates well onscreen, and knowing Director Christopher Nolan’s preference of keeping things realistic, it’s understandable why he went with Bane’s final look. But there is always room for different opinions, so have a look and share yours;

What you think? Did Nolan make the right decisions?
Below are posters made by marketing agency, Trailer Park, for the movie’s theatrical release in terms of marketing campaign. They didn’t get the green light and thus never saw the light of day. BUT given that anything and everything to do with The Dark Knight Rises, whether seen or previously unseen before still creates quite the buzz, we figured why not share? 😉
