PLAYSTATION PLUS FREE GAMES FOR JANUARY 2023

1. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

From Respawn Entertainment (the creators of Apex Legends and Titanfall) comes this galaxy sprawling action adventure game set several years after the fall of the Jedi Order in the wake of Order 66. Play as Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan who sets off on a quest to rebuild the Jedi order at the height of the Galactic Empire’s rule.

The game features Metroidvania style level designs that require you to revisit planets as you unlock new skills and a Souls Like combat system that is both challenging and entertaining.

The Sequel to Fallen Order, Jedi: Survivor, is set for release this March.

2. Fallout 76

Fallout 76 is an online post-apocalyptic multiplayer role playing game from Bethesda (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 4). It is a prequel to the other games within the Fallout series. Set in a world torn apart by nuclear war

Players can explore a vast open world, complete quests, build and customize their own shelters, and engage in player vs player combat.

3. Axiom Verge 2

Axiom Verge 2 is an indie Metroidvania action platformer developed and published by Tom Happ. It is the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2015 game, Axiom Verge. The game is set in a sci-fi universe and follows the story of a scientist who becomes trapped in an alternate dimension. Players explore an alternate Earth-like world, replete with the ruins of an ancient, high-tech civilization, where they must navigate through a variety of environments and defeat enemies using a variety of weapons and abilities.

XBOX GAMEPASS & XBOX LIVE GOLD FREE GAMES FOR JANUARY 2023

1. Iris Fall

Iris Fall is a monochromatic puzzle adventure game. You play as young Iris who follows a mysterious black cat into a labyrinthine world of light and dark. The deeper Iris delves, the more she will realize that everything holds some kind of connection to her.

The game follows the theme of black and white and features clever puzzles that follow the monochrome motif.

2. Autonauts

Autonauts is a mish mash of the very best of agriculture, simulation, crafting and resource management games. Fresh from your spaceship you must harvest stick and stone and begin your colonization efforts on uninhabited planets.

Build workerbots to aid you in your efforts and shape their AI with a visual programming language to instruct them to help you build your colony
