What to expect at Otamatsuri Online?
The name Otamatsuri comes from a combination of two words; “Otaku“- a Japanese term for people with obsessive interests, particularly in anime and manga. “Matsuri“- a Japanese word for festival.
Despite not being able to have a physical event this year, our goal is to create a highly engaging and fun fan experience with content ranging from cosplay, anime, manga, merch and so much more. Fully representing the otaku experience with interactive content that will appeal to both veteran fans and mainstream fans alike.
How can you participate?
Just like how we did at our previous virtual experience, Comixplosion to the World (click here for the replay), we are taking in submissions: from cosplay to manga, short films to animations, art to music or song covers, we have all major categories covered that should appeal to you whether you are a fan, professional or business person.
