Amazing Spiderman 2

Jamie Foxx is one of the high profile signings for Amazing Spiderman 2, no wonder when pictures of him in ‘villain-mode’ as Electro surfaced they did their rounds online, as if that wasn’t enough, a recent much more ‘cleaner’ look at Jamie Foxx as the villain Maxwell Dillon,  before his transformation has surfaced:

And here’s a backstory on Foxx’s character courtesy of Jamie; “You’ll see his whole life is just no one is talking to him, people have stolen his ideas at the company, he’s a nobody.  And at a certain point Spider-Man bumps into him and says, ‘You’re my guy, you’re my ears and eyes on the street,’ and he says his name, Max, and no one’s ever said Max Dillon’s name, and he goes ‘Wow.’  And so when Spider-Man leaves he sort of thinks that somehow, ‘I am Spider-Man’s partner,’ and so he starts cutting out his face and pasting it on his board at home.  When everything goes bad, his mom doesn’t remember his birthday, I mean all these crazy things happen until finally he has something tragic happen, and then when it turns on he lights it up.Jamie Foxx via Collider

Here are the rest of the set pictures featuring a blue Jamie, Dane DeHaan, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone:

Plot Summary:In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters May 2nd, 2014.

Thor: The Dark World

Iron Man 3 has been hogging all the limelight so far, no wonder since he is the most recognizable and well-liked out of Marvel at the moment.  But that doesn’t mean we should forget the drapes-wearing hero/god 😉 (Avengers anyone?) Thor who storms into theaters later this year in his sequel titled Thor: The Dark World…

Following on from the events of The Avengers, The Dark World sees Thor dealing not only with his troublesome stepbrother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), but also a bunch of Dark Elves led by the nefarious Malekith (Christopher Eccleston). No wonder his romance with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) is on the back-burner.Totalfilm
