This year sees a good number of initially successful animation flicks making a comeback for the second time round with hopes of a hugely successful pay-off and franchise gold in future… Despicable Me 2, Monsters University make up that batch, followed later on in the year by Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. Speaking of which, here is it’s official synopsis and international trailer below:

“In the wake of the disastrous food storm at the end of the first movie, Flint Lockwood and friends are forced to leave their town of Swallow Falls.  But when it is discovered that sentient food beasts have overrun the island, they are asked to return to save the world…again.“ Collider

“Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol.
