#Iron Man 3

Iron Man 3 is set to hit theaters next year in May.  I sincerely hope that the third installment will be WAY BETTER than the mess that was Iron Man 2 (no blame to the Director though).  Here’s the latest info on the “threequel” that has really believing that it will work out good, well i would have watched it anyway being a fan of Iron Man comics but no need for it to be a painful experience 🙂

#Dark Knight Returns

DC Comics are bringing to life or rather making another animated feature out of one the classic Batman comics stories; The Dark Knight Returns…

Here’s the synopsis of the story that not only shaped the character but gave him the gloomy, violent and dark tone that is permanently attached to the character and one which follows it to any adaptation (animated or motion picture):

“One of the most influential comics of all time, [‘The Dark Knight Returns’] is set in a near future where Batman is retired and Gotham City has slid into a dystopian state ruled by a gang of hooligans called The Mutants. The 55-year old Bruce Wayne is forced to don the cape once more, this time partnering with a female Robin to not only stop the Joker but keep the peace when the city falls into chaos after being hit by an electromagnetic pulse.”– Screenrant.

The animated feature is split into 2 parts. Part 1 comes out later this year while the second one comes out early next year.  Here are some images though…

• Wade Williams, a Prison Break alum who provided vocals for DC titles likeGreen Lantern: Emerald Knights and Batman: Under the Red Hood, as Harvey Dent/Two-Face.
• Michael McKean, the star of famous 1980s titles like This Is Spinal Tap andClue (who briefly played Perry White on Smallville), as Dr. Wolper – the psychiatrist who releases Joker from Arkham.
• David Selby, star of the original Dark Shadows and Falcon Crest soap operas, in a role not disclosed in THR‘s scoop.
