DOUBLE USER REVIEW: Haywire (Movie)

HAYWIRE

I Iove the MMA. It’s the one sport on the planet that has real blood. When I got this movie I thought it would be all bone crunching fight scenes and fast paced action. I should have known better from the cliché title. The MMA chick should never have been given the starring role, her acting was poor. (She had me wondering when Angelina Jolie will get back on the big screen and give us a fine performance)

This movie should not be compared to Colombiana. The story is full of plot holes from the start. Every time a new character was introduced in the flashback rhetoric I kept asking myself, “Who the hell is this guy?” Even Antonio Banderas made a mess of it. He is not the same actor that had me watching ‘I live in my skin’ with subtitles. All the other big stars in the movie were cast because of their names to give the movie some flair, and that also failed. The stunts were incredible, but added up to nothing. The cinematography was so awful that I lost my patience to watch this to the end. If you are still waiting for the DVD copy of this movie, I do not think it is worth the patience.

HAYWIRE:(in my own opinion)

So basically we have the same story of how the USA trained another one of those hard to control women (she’s not from Nyeri though she bashes men as such) ahem skipped too far….

They had to do the obvious; try to eliminate her after she done a good job but wait, that’s where it actually starts(the movie) then they have to drag us all out with the flashbacks to try and explain what actually DIDN’T happen (yes i wrote that correctly).

My….. The confusion … much to my amazement no one ends up being without/with fault but she beats them all up!  For a movie with a 6.3 rating on IMDB this is whack!

LOOSING PLOT with every single minute and worst of all failing to deliver…. trust me.  A chick who can fight sure hot (on a lighter note), but a woman with combat training…

But that’s all it boils down to.

RATING: 2.4/10  (dont ask why and if you have to its probably cause she’s a MMA fighter)

CONS:(i can only state so few)
lots of LOST PLOTS
POOR DIALOGUE
WASTE of RESOURCE
LACK OF RESOURCE
no PROPS

PROS:(yes I’m on maximum here) MMA

VERDICT:
you judge from the review but if i still have to chew it for you it would be two words “IT SUCKED”

p.s its not an exact science :acting that is but AT LEAST TRY!
