Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley from the hilarious and wonderful 1984 hit, “Beverly Hills Cop”

Eddie Murphy is back. Well personally, he hasn’t gone anywhere, but professionally his career hasn’t really been getting the proper or ‘positive’ hits 😉 For quite some time, Eddie has been on and off on a certain project that throws us back to one of his most successful franchises to date; Beverly Hills Cop

In an attempt to probably test the modern day reception of the franchise (and also a sort of test before any possible big screen plans) a pilot episode for a possible run on TV is currently being shot. Attached to the project are Brandon T. Jackson playing Aaron Foley, Axel Foley’s son; the director of Men in Black Barry Sonnenfeld as director and Eddie Murphy who will reprise his character as Axel Foley.
