If you’re a fan of British flair when it comes to what you watch, grounded on their solid writing and acting. Throw in matters of the unnatural, specifically ‘unnatural’ in the zombie sense and you get In The Flesh…
Official Plot: “In the Flesh is a BBC Drama Production North co-produced by BBC America. The series follows zombie teenager Kieren Walker (Luke Newberry) and his reintegration back into both the local community and the heart of his family. After his suicide four years ago, his friends and family thought they’d never see Kieren again. But then, shortly after his funeral, thousands rose from the dead; and after months of rehabilitation and medication, the zombies, now known as PDS (Partially Deceased Syndrome) sufferers, are gradually being returned to their homes. When Kieren returns, he is forced to confront his family, the community that rejected him and haunting flashbacks of what he did in his untreated state. Johnny Campbell directs, Ann Harrison-Baxter produces and Hilary Martin is the executive producer of the three-part series.”
Sound interesting? Given our experience with and taste for British drama along the veins of this story (Jekyll, The Fades, Being Human), we would recommend you keep your eyes open for this one. In the Flesh will premiere June 6-8 at 10pm/9c.

ARROW | Naked Muscle, Images and Official Plot
The world of comic books and superheroes is proving to be a success (when done right) onscreen; whether the big screen or small screen. The Dark Knight Trilogy and The Avengers prove that the world is for the taken when such material is done well, and on the small screen the 10 year run of Smallville stands head and shoulders above many. Could Arrow be heading down that route perhaps…?
The first successful season of DC Comic’s TV interpretation of the Emerald Archer left no doubt that there would be a season 2, and that season is almost upon us in two weeks, October 9th to be exact. It will be interesting to see what path the series takes in season two, with certain quarters complaining about the toned down story and cliches, but all that seem to be sidelined at the moment as we get awed and teased by promo images, speaking of which… naked men anyone? Ladies?
Yes, less clothes does alot for marketing doesn’t it 😉 Here’s the series official season 2 synopsis:
Plot: “FROM VIGILANTE TO HERO — Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) travel to Lian Yu in search of Oliver (Stephen Amell) who left Starling City after The Undertaking. Convinced to return home, Oliver finds that things are in worse shape than he thought – Isabel Rochev (guest star Summer Glau) is preparing a hostile takeover of Queen Consolidated, Thea (Willa Holland) refuses to visit Moira (Susanna Thompson) in jail, Roy (Colton Haynes) is trying to fill the void left by the Arrow’s absence, and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is working with the District Attorney’s office to take down the vigilante. Meanwhile, flashbacks to the island show Slade (Manu Bennett), Shado (guest star Celina Jade) and Oliver in a desperate situation.” via Screenrant
