Jack the Giant Slayer: NEW Official Trailer

Bryan Singer is helming the upcoming Jack the Giant Slayer, renamed from Jack the Giant Killer to make it more family friendly AND based of the popular fairytale Jack and the Bean Stalk.  If you’re familiar with this film’s source materiel, then you have the general flow, but keeping in mind that this is Hollywood; factor in certain marketing directions and notice-able changes to that general picture you have and prepare yourself for the second official trailer…

SynopsisJack the Giant Slayer” tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack (Nicholas Hoult) into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend–and gets the chance to become a legend himself.”

The film premieres March 1st, 2013. It looks set to be quite the eye-candy in terms of 3D visual effects, only question is, would you spare time and Big Screen cash to do so?
